What we collect

You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name or email address. Free downloads need no sign-up. When you scan or type a book code in Color Companion, the code is sent to our server so it can find your book. To block repeated wrong guesses, our server briefly uses your IP address, and our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. We do not set cookies ourselves.

Camera and images

The camera is used only on your device to read the barcode. Pictures are not uploaded or stored. If you upload a barcode photo, it is read inside your browser.

Advertising

We may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies or similar technology to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first.

Children

Our products are bought and downloaded by adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
