How to use Color Companion
You need a coloring book from Singaravelan Studio, a phone or computer with internet, and the barcode printed inside your book.
- Open the scan page. Go to Scan your book.
- Start the camera. Tap Start camera and allow camera access when your browser asks.
- Scan the barcode. Hold your phone 10 to 20 cm from the barcode, keep it flat and steady, and avoid glare.
- Open your book. You will see a message with your book's name. Tap Open the book.
- Pick a page. Use the page menu or the arrow buttons to move between pages. Tap the full screen button to see a page larger.
Tips if scanning does not work
- Use more light and move slightly closer or further away.
- Upload a photo. On a laptop, take a clear photo of the barcode and choose Upload barcode image. QR codes read most reliably this way.
- Type the code. Open Enter code manually and type the code printed under the barcode.
- Camera blocked? Allow camera access for this site in your browser settings and reload the page.
- "No book found"? Check that you scanned the barcode from our book and try again.
Good to know
The colored pages are for your personal use as a reference. After 30 minutes of no activity the book closes and you scan again. Still stuck? Contact us.
